Music as a Life Force: Susan McDonald
an interactive online talk (Zoom)
Guitarist Susan McDonald will share stories from her dangerous and inspiring music journey in the Middle East. The conversation will take us to present day challenges and looking at what role music plays for our well-being and humanity. The talk will be followed by a live discussion with the audience and a Q&A session.
Free for VGS members, $10 for non-members.
Victoria Showcase: postponed until further notice
VGS online mini-festival a success!
Adjudicated by Brett Gunther from Calgary, the VGS Online Mini-Festival was a success with 9 participants of all age groups and 15 piece submissions! Bravo and congratulations to all the students who took part in this interesting experiment. All participants received written comments from the adjudicator as well as a Certificate of Participation. We are delighted to share some festival performances with you through our Festival Playlist.
