French guitarist, Raphaël Feuillâtre began classical guitar lessons at the age of 9.  At the age of 16, he began his studies at the Conservatory at Nantes.  Three years later, Feuillâtre was accepted into the class of Roland Dyens at the Paris National Superior Conservatory of Music and Dance, and obtained his Bachelor of Performing Arts degree in 2017 with highest honours. In 2019, Raphael completed his Master’s in Classical Guitar Performance.

In 2017 Mr Feuillâtre won 1st prize in the International Guitar Competition, Jose Tomas – Villa Petrer in Spain.  He won the highly prestigious Guitar Foundation of America (GFA) International Competition in 2018.

Raphaël divides his time between performing and teaching. He regularly gives Master Classes during his tours and has a permanent teaching position at the Music School of Villeneuve-la-Garenne in the Paris region.

Following his success at 2018's GFA International Concert Artist Competition, Raphaël completed the recording of his second CD for the Naxos Label.  He is not on a nine-month tour of North America and Japan.
